About The Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer in our aerospace manufacturing environment, you’ll help shape and improve how we design, build, and optimize manufacturing processes for high-precision components. You’ll work closely with production teams, quality, and engineering stakeholders to ensure processes are capable, repeatable, and aligned with aerospace expectations.

You’ll also play a key role in continuous improvement—identifying opportunities, implementing practical solutions, and supporting the smooth transfer of engineering requirements into production.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes for aerospace components, ensuring they meet required specifications and performance targets.
  • Support production teams by troubleshooting process and performance issues—then implementing corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, focusing on yield, cycle time, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to ensure processes are aligned with applicable aerospace standards and internal requirements.
  • Assess and improve process capability, including monitoring performance and recommending parameter changes where needed.
  • Create and maintain process documentation to support consistent execution (e.g., work instructions, process plans, and manufacturing documentation).
  • Participate in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving activities to address nonconformances and production variances.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and engineering changes by helping ensure manufacturing readiness and effective implementation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing methods—recommending upgrades where they improve output and quality.
  • Plan and support process validations and improvements, ensuring production methods are robust and repeatable.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer (or similar) in a manufacturing environment—ideally aerospace or other tightly controlled sectors.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how to improve them using data-driven methods.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and leading corrective actions through structured root cause analysis.
  • Comfort working with quality requirements and contributing to process capability and compliance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with shop floor teams and engineering stakeholders, translating technical requirements into practical actions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience supporting process documentation and changes to ensure consistency across production.
  • Confidence working with manufacturing technology and improving how work is executed on the shop floor.
