Outsite
Business Development Representative — Outsite for Teams
Build the outbound engine behind Outsite’s B2B growth. If you love prospecting, enjoy consultative conversations with founders and People leaders, and want to turn remote-first curiosity into long-term partnerships, this role is for you. You’ll help shape the outreach playbook, run discovery calls end-to-end, and close new Outsite for Teams accounts—at a company that’s already proven its community and hospitality model at global scale.
About Outsite
Outsite is a global coliving company for remote workers—delivering hotel-quality service, extended-stay flexibility, and a built-in community. We sit at the intersection of hospitality and lifestyle, with 40+ properties across 21+ cities on 5 continents, 6,000+ verified members, and an NPS of 65.
About Outsite for Teams
Outsite for Teams is our B2B expansion—helping companies, teams, and communities access our global network of coliving and coworking spaces for their employees. Instead of positioning this as a discount, we sell it as a meaningful perk that leaders are proud to offer.
Founders and team leaders purchase memberships on behalf of their teams, and a dedicated account manager ensures employees stay active and engaged. This is a major growth priority—and you’ll be among the first dedicated sales hires driving it.
About The Role
We’re hiring a Business Development Representative to build and run outbound sales for Outsite for Teams. Your job is to identify the right companies, prospect them with confidence, lead discovery calls, and close new business—turning distributed teams and growth-stage companies into long-term Outsite for Teams accounts.
This is a high-autonomy, build-it-yourself role. You won’t just follow a script—you’ll help shape the outbound playbook as you learn what works.
What You’ll Do
1) Prospecting & Outbound
- Build and maintain targeted lists of remote-first and hybrid companies, using signals like:
- team size (50–500)
- remote/hybrid language in company descriptions
- titles such as Head of People, Chief of Staff, VP of Operations, Founder
- Source leads through tools and sources including:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Wellfound/AngelList
- Crunchbase
- remote job boards (We Work Remotely, Remote.co)
- Outsite’s own member base
- Run cold outbound via email, LinkedIn, and calls, continually testing and refining messaging for better response and meeting rates
- Target local companies near Outsite locations to sell corporate stay and business travel opportunities
- Develop partnerships with travel agencies and tour operators to generate referral and bundled-stay opportunities
2) Sales & Pipeline Management
- Own the outbound-to-close motion by running discovery calls that uncover team needs, travel patterns, and how they approach remote work culture
- Lead the full sales cycle—from first touch through to a signed deal
- Keep your CRM clean and accurate:
- every deal staged correctly
- every next step documented
- no guessing, no gaps
- Forecast pipeline reliably and work toward monthly and quarterly new business targets
3) Collaboration & Handoff
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing on outbound positioning, collateral, and campaigns that support your pipeline-building efforts
- Hand off closed accounts to account management with complete context on client goals, stakeholders, and success criteria
- Share continuous market feedback—what resonates, what stalls, and which objections appear most often—so we can sharpen our ICP and pitch over time
4) Reporting
- Provide weekly pipeline reporting including:
- outbound volume
- pipeline stage movement
- conversion rates
- blockers and risks
- Track what’s working in outbound and share learnings so the process can be systematized
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of B2B sales or business development experience (SDR/BDR background is a strong plus)
- A confident, consultative communicator who can run discovery calls with founders and People leaders
- A self-starter who has built pipeline from scratch—not only worked warm leads
- Comfort working autonomously and independently
- Proactive mindset: you take initiative and keep momentum even when it’s quiet
- Comfort working European timezone hours
- Strong written communication—outbound copy is a core part of the job
- High organization and CRM discipline—able to keep it honest without being micromanaged
- Comfort using AI tools in your workflow to improve output and efficiency
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to remote-first or distributed teams
- Familiarity with Pipedrive or HubSpot
- An existing network in the startup, remote work, or travel/hospitality space
- Experience selling membership, subscription, or perk-style products
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Build a working, documented outbound playbook (target lists, messaging, cadence)
- Create a full and accurately staged pipeline in the CRM
- Book first qualified meetings and drive first deals through later stages or close
- Establish a clear weekly reporting rhythm with Marketing
- Develop a sharper POV on which ICP segments convert fastest and why
Benefits
- Remote-friendly setup with flexibility (travel is encouraged)
- Credits for Outsite locations
