At HarrisonParrott Ltd., we’re looking for a proactive HR Generalist to deliver responsive, professional HR support across HarrisonParrott and its associated companies. You’ll be the go-to for managers and employees—guiding matters across the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to performance, policy, and compliance.
This is a hands-on role where your HR expertise, calm judgement, and strong communication skills will directly shape great employee experiences.
About The Role
As our HR Generalist, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of HR operations and ensure HR processes run smoothly and consistently. You’ll provide expert advice and guidance across the full lifecycle—balancing operational delivery with thoughtful support for people managers and employees.
You’ll also help strengthen HR systems and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, company policies, and best practices.
What You’ll Do
You’ll own key HR operations and support across a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- Recruitment & Talent Coordination
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to define requirements and timelines
- Support interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruitment administration
- Help ensure a consistent, fair, and well-documented recruitment approach
- Onboarding & Early Employee Experience
- Lead onboarding activities to ensure new starters have a smooth start
- Maintain onboarding documentation and ensure timely completion of required steps
- Support managers with onboarding plans and practical HR guidance
- Employee Relations
- Provide professional, responsive HR advice on employee relations matters
- Support managers in handling day-to-day issues appropriately and consistently
- Help ensure matters are documented accurately and handled in line with policy
- Performance Management Support
- Advise managers on performance processes and best practice
- Support the execution of performance cycles and related documentation
- Promote fair, constructive, and consistent management of performance
- HR Policies, Compliance & Implementation
- Oversee HR operations related to policy implementation and compliance
- Ensure HR practices align with employment law and internal standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant HR frameworks and guidance
- HR Systems & Administration
- Support HR systems and ensure accurate employee data management
- Maintain HR records and documentation to a high standard
- Improve HR processes where you see gaps—making operations smoother for everyone
- Expert Guidance for Managers & Employees
- Deliver effective, timely HR support with a professional and approachable style
- Respond to queries across the employee lifecycle
- Provide clear explanations, practical advice, and next steps
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an HR Generalist who can combine operational ownership with strong interpersonal skills. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working closely with managers, and ensuring processes are consistent, compliant, and well run.
- Proven HR Generalist experience supporting the employee lifecycle end-to-end
- Strong employee relations capability with sound judgement and discretion
- Experience supporting performance management processes and manager guidance
- Recruitment and onboarding exposure, including coordination and HR administration
- Comfort with HR systems and data integrity (accurate records, documentation, and process follow-through)
- Excellent communication skills—able to explain HR guidance clearly and professionally
- A compliance-minded approach with attention to policy and employment law considerations
- Professional, responsive, and solutions-focused mindset—you genuinely enjoy helping people and improving processes
