About The Role
Ready to help protect critical systems and keep sensitive data out of the wrong hands? We’re hiring a Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen our security posture, respond to threats, and ensure our environments are built and operated with safety in mind. If you’re the kind of security professional who enjoys turning risk into resilience—and can communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll own day-to-day security responsibilities and contribute to long-term improvements across our systems, processes, and tooling. You’ll work with teams across the organization to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risk, and support safe operations.
- Help ensure a safe workplace by promoting and following security and safety policies while performing all assigned duties.
- Support and maintain cybersecurity controls across enterprise systems, networks, and applications.
- Perform security assessments and assist with remediation planning for identified gaps and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor for security issues and support incident response activities, including triage, investigation, and documentation.
- Contribute to threat detection improvements by refining detection logic, alerting, and response playbooks.
- Help validate security configurations and ensure systems meet established security standards.
- Participate in security reviews and assist engineering teams with secure-by-design guidance.
- Support compliance-related activities by maintaining evidence and assisting with audits as needed.
- Document security findings, risk details, and remediation steps in a clear, actionable way.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a security specialist with strong technical fundamentals, solid hands-on experience, and a proactive mindset. You don’t just find problems—you help drive solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a closely related security role.
- Experience supporting security operations, vulnerability management, and/or incident response.
- Strong understanding of common security concepts such as threats, risk, vulnerabilities, and mitigation.
- Ability to analyze security events and translate technical findings into clear recommendations.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams and communicating security priorities effectively.
- Strong documentation habits—reports, findings, and procedures that others can actually use.
Nice to Have
- Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or similar.
- Experience with SIEM, endpoint security, vulnerability scanning, or security orchestration tools.
- Hands-on experience with secure configuration, hardening, and operational security best practices.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and impact.
- Professional growth through continuous learning, security projects, and hands-on ownership.
- Collaborative environment where your recommendations matter and improvements are implemented.
- Health and well-being support (details provided during the hiring process).
- Modern tooling and practical security work focused on real risk reduction.
How to Apply
If you’re excited to strengthen our security posture and help keep our systems and people safe, we’d love to hear from you. Apply with your resume and a brief note about the security work you’re most proud of—especially any incident response, vulnerability remediation, or detection improvements you’ve led or supported.
