SaidGig is hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer (Micro Platforms) to help design, build, and continuously improve the internal platform systems that our teams rely on every day. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take real ownership—from shaping requirements and architecture to shipping features end-to-end and supporting them in production.

About The Role

As a Software Engineer on the Micro Platforms Core team, you’ll be responsible for core internal platform capabilities. You’ll contribute to the design, development, and delivery of platform services, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and built for long-term evolution.

This role emphasizes full ownership: you’ll help define what “good” looks like, implement it, and partner with the team to keep it running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and enhance internal platform systems that support multiple teams and workflows across SaidGig.
• Build end-to-end features spanning frontend, backend, APIs, and supporting services.
• Own components from design through implementation and into production operations.
• Collaborate on architecture and system design, helping shape how micro platform capabilities are structured and delivered.
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to a high-quality engineering culture.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of team practices.
• Troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes, and implement fixes that prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to documentation and developer enablement so internal platform tooling is easy to use and scale.
• Help improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of platform services over time.

How You’ll Work

• Work closely with engineers and platform stakeholders to translate needs into scalable platform solutions.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery—bringing thoughtful engineering perspective to product and technical decisions.
• Partner with teammates to ensure the platform remains observable, resilient, and secure.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong fullstack development experience building production applications and services.
• Experience working with APIs and backend services, including designing interfaces and integrating systems.
• Comfort building and maintaining frontend applications that deliver great user experiences for internal users or internal tooling.
• Hands-on experience with software engineering fundamentals: data modeling, testing, debugging, and performance awareness.
• Ability to take ownership: you can identify needs, propose solutions, implement them, and support them through release.
• Strong collaboration skills—comfortable in code review, technical discussions, and cross-functional communication.
• A mindset focused on quality and long-term maintainability, not just “getting it working.”
