Celestica International LP
Lead High-Impact IT Projects Across the Americas
Celestica International LP is hiring an IT Project Manager (Manager 2) to drive delivery of technology initiatives that matter—on time, within scope, and with measurable business outcomes. If you thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy aligning stakeholders, and have a proven track record managing complex IT workstreams, this role is built for you.
Location: Richardson, Texas (Americas)
Functional Area: Information Technology (ITM)
Career Stream: IT Project Management (PRM)
About The Role
As an IT Project Manager at Celestica, you’ll own end-to-end project execution for technology programs and ensure delivery meets operational and business needs. You’ll manage competing priorities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain strong governance across planning, execution, and closure.
This is a Manager 2 (MG2) level role, where you’ll be expected to lead with structure and clarity—while staying flexible as requirements evolve.
What You’ll Do
You’ll bring rigor to the project lifecycle and keep delivery moving forward. Day to day, your work will include:
- Plan and manage IT projects from initiation through delivery, including scope definition, milestones, and release planning.
- Own project governance by establishing reporting rhythms, tracking progress, and driving decisions through the right forums.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (IT, business partners, vendors, and internal teams) to align on priorities and outcomes.
- Manage scope, schedule, and dependencies to reduce delivery risk and keep teams focused on what matters most.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and status updates.
- Drive risk and issue management—identify early, escalate appropriately, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure quality of delivery by coordinating reviews, validating acceptance criteria, and supporting transition to operations.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication with clear, actionable updates—especially during critical phases such as testing, cutover, or go-live.
- Support continuous improvement by refining project practices, templates, and execution methods across teams.
How Success Is Measured
You’ll be successful when your projects consistently deliver:
- On-time milestones and predictable delivery schedules
- Clear visibility into progress, risks, and decisions
- Stakeholder alignment from planning through go-live
- Appropriate controls to manage scope and change
- Successful handoff to operational teams with adoption-ready outcomes
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced IT Project Manager who can lead with confidence, communicate clearly, and keep execution disciplined—even when priorities shift. Ideally, you bring:
- Proven experience managing IT projects end-to-end (planning, execution, delivery, closure)
- Strong project management fundamentals including scope management, scheduling, and stakeholder governance
- Ability to manage complexity across multiple workstreams, teams, and dependencies
- Excellent communication and leadership—you can translate technical work into business impact
- Comfort with risk management using structured tools (e.g., RAID) and proactive escalation
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and driving decisions through forums
- Strong documentation and reporting skills with consistent, executive-ready updates
- Customer- and outcome-oriented mindset focused on delivery quality and adoption
Note: Celestica’s IT Project Management roles typically expect familiarity with standard delivery practices and governance models. If you’ve led technology projects in regulated or operational environments, that’s a strong advantage.
