Finance Assistant (£30,000) — Lincoln Area

This is a full-time role with Monday to Friday hours and an initial hybrid setup of 1 day from home after probation.
What You’ll Do
As a Finance Assistant at Benjamin Edwards, you’ll be supporting the day-to-day finance operations and helping keep processes running smoothly. Your work will directly contribute to accurate records, timely reporting, and a clean, well-organised finance function.
- Assist with core finance administration to support the wider finance team
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure information is up to date
- Support processing and reconciliation activities where required
- Contribute to monthly and periodic reporting tasks
- Support with invoice and transaction processing in line with agreed procedures
- Follow internal controls and ensure documentation is completed to standard
- Respond to internal queries in a timely, professional manner
- Help improve finance processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency and accuracy

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Comfort working with numbers and administrative processes
- Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A proactive mindset—someone who asks questions and takes ownership
- Experience in an administrative or finance-support role is beneficial (but attitude and potential matter)

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hybrid: 1 day hybrid after probation
