UK Mission Enterprise Ltd

About UK Mission Enterprise Ltd.

UK Mission Enterprise Ltd. is seeking a dedicated, highly organised Day/Night Duty Coordinator to join our Logistics team in London on a fixed-term contract. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love keeping operations moving with precision, this is your chance to step into a role where your coordination skills directly impact service quality and reliability.

About The Role

As the Day/Night Duty Coordinator, you’ll help ensure the smooth, efficient operation of our chauffeur services—supporting fleet readiness, coordinating personnel schedules, and responding quickly to operational needs. You’ll be the reliable point of contact that keeps dispatch running, supports the team in the field, and helps maintain high standards across every shift.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured problem-solving, strong communication, and being the calm, capable organiser when things get busy.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate daily and night operations to ensure chauffeur activity runs smoothly and on time.
  • Manage fleet and duty readiness, including monitoring vehicle availability, status, and operational readiness.
  • Schedule and support personnel, ensuring the right staff are assigned to the right duties across shifts.
  • Monitor ongoing assignments and track progress to support timely completion and service continuity.
  • Handle operational changes quickly, adjusting assignments and resources when priorities shift.
  • Maintain clear communication with drivers, internal teams, and relevant stakeholders throughout each shift.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and support resolution of disruptions (e.g., staffing gaps, vehicle concerns, urgent rescheduling).
  • Keep accurate records related to duty rosters, fleet status, and shift activities.
  • Ensure shift handovers are thorough, passing on key updates and operational context to the next coordinator.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting practical process enhancements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven coordination or dispatch experience (logistics, fleet coordination, scheduling, operations support, or similar).
  • Strong fleet and personnel management understanding, with a practical approach to scheduling and coverage.
  • Excellent organisation and time management—you can multitask without losing accuracy.
  • Comfort working across Day/Night shifts and maintaining performance in a fast-moving environment.
  • Clear, professional communication with the ability to give instructions and updates confidently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially when priorities change or unexpected issues arise.
  • Attention to detail—you take pride in accurate records and reliable handovers.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and keep operations moving during peak periods.
  • Right-to-work in the UK (required for this fixed-term role).

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Be at the centre of operations—your coordination directly supports service delivery and fleet effectiveness.
  • Structured responsibility with clear shift-based ownership and meaningful impact.
  • Work in a team environment where communication and reliability are valued.
  • Fixed-term opportunity in London with room to demonstrate your operational strengths.

Benefits

  • Fixed-term contract with structured shift accountability.
  • Competitive salary aligned with your experience and shift demands.
  • Professional development through hands-on logistics and duty coordination experience.
  • Supportive team culture built around clear communication and operational excellence.
