Senior Product Manager, Platform Shared Services (Delinea)

Position Summary
As a Senior Product Manager for Delinea Platform Shared Services, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for the foundational services that every product team builds on. You’ll own a shared services portfolio that includes:
- Policy service
- Workflow orchestration & approval services
- Inbox
- Notifications
You’ll partner closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure these capabilities are designed for real-world usage, governed for enterprise-grade security and compliance, and built in an API-first, extensible way that adoption teams can grow with.
What You’ll Do
- Own the vision and strategy for platform shared services—policy, workflow/approvals, inbox, and notifications—ensuring alignment with company goals and customer outcomes.
- Translate customer needs into product requirements by collaborating with customers and stakeholders to validate workflows for policy authoring, approval experiences, and notification behavior.
- Partner with internal product teams to gather requirements, understand roadmaps, and design shared services that are easy to adopt, extend, and build upon.
- Deliver a robust policy framework that enables consistent, auditable policy definition and enforcement across the platform.
- Drive the workflow and approval service roadmap, enabling orchestration for complex multi-step approval chains with:
- delegation
- escalation
- audit requirements
- Define and evolve inbox and notification services to provide timely, actionable, and well-governed communications across channels—with sensible defaults and user-level control.
- Champion API-first, self-service design so other teams can integrate quickly and safely.
- Establish adoption metrics to measure success and continuously improve shared services based on real usage.
- Stay ahead of the curve by tracking trends and emerging approaches such as:
- policy-as-code
- workflow orchestration patterns
- event-driven architectures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, architecture, and other product leaders to define, prioritize, and deliver high-impact features.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on platform services, shared/foundational capabilities, or closely related work.
- Strong platform product management fundamentals, including:
- multi-tenancy
- API-first design
- Experience in one or more shared-service domains, especially:
- policy engines
- policy-as-code
- workflow orchestration systems
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and audit requirements for enterprise workflows and approvals, such as:
- separation of duties
- audit trails
- Proven track record bringing platform capabilities to market and driving adoption across multiple product teams.
- Working knowledge of public cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and event-driven, microservices-based architectures.
- Identity security / PAM / cybersecurity experience is a huge plus.
- Scrum Product Owner or pragmatic marketing certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills—written, oral, and presentation—with a curious, collaborative mindset.
- Travel expectation: up to 25%.
