About The Role

As an IT Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop strong foundations in computing, digital literacy, and information technology. What You’ll Do

  • Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons that motivate students and support strong learning outcomes.
  • Teach across KS3 and KS4, covering key areas of:
    • Computing
    • Digital literacy
    • Information technology
  • Use effective teaching strategies to ensure students understand core concepts and can apply skills independently.
  • Support students with varied learning needs, using feedback and differentiation to help them progress.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and maintain consistency in curriculum delivery.
  • Assess student progress and use results to inform next steps in teaching.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment focused on learning, respect, and achievement.

What We’re Looking For

  • A confident teacher who can deliver high-quality IT lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong subject knowledge in computing, digital literacy, and IT.
  • The ability to create lessons that are engaging, clear, and relevant to students.
  • Experience working with secondary-aged learners (or a strong background in delivering secondary education).
  • A collaborative mindset—comfortable working with a supportive and well-resourced department.
  • Professional approach to assessment, behaviour management, and safeguarding expectations.
