About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes for aerospace components. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, and other internal stakeholders to ensure our manufacturing systems are efficient, capable, and aligned with programme requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to support production delivery, quality, and efficiency.
• Support the transition of designs and assemblies into production, ensuring manufacturability and process readiness.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and prevent recurrence through root-cause analysis.
• Define and document manufacturing methods, work instructions, and process parameters to ensure consistency.
• Recommend and implement tooling, fixturing, and process changes that improve repeatability and capability.
• Support production trials, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality to ensure processes meet required standards and that nonconformances are effectively addressed.
• Maintain strong engineering discipline by ensuring documentation is accurate, current, and audit-ready.
• Contribute to risk reduction and process stability by identifying potential failure points early.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer (aerospace experience is highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the practical realities of producing precision parts.
• Experience supporting production environments, troubleshooting issues, and driving corrective actions.
• Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into clear, executable manufacturing methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams.
• Knowledge of quality and compliance expectations in regulated manufacturing environments (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain changes clearly and gain buy-in across stakeholders.
• A structured approach to documentation and process control.
