iFF Talent - Ingham Frankland Fide

About The Role

at iFF Talent – Ingham Frankland Fide is looking for a finance professional who actually enjoys the “messy middle” of real business—operational variance, shifting priorities, and cross-functional decision-making. If you’re the kind of person who sees complexity as a chance to uncover clarity, this is your role.

In this position, you’ll step into the business, quickly learn how operations work, and translate day-to-day performance into insights leadership can trust. You’ll be the person who can look at costs, performance trends, and operational drivers—and explain what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what should happen next.

What You’ll Do

  • Own variance analysis by reviewing performance against budgets/forecasts and identifying meaningful drivers behind results.
  • Build clear performance narratives for leadership—turning financial data into practical, easy-to-understand insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand operational realities and ensure financial analysis reflects what’s actually happening on the ground.
  • Support forecasting and planning by contributing to assumptions, scenario thinking, and performance expectations.
  • Monitor costs and performance trends to highlight risks, opportunities, and areas requiring action.
  • Assist with strategic decision-making by providing analysis that informs priorities and resource allocation.
  • Drive process improvements to strengthen reporting quality, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Communicate with confidence—whether presenting to leadership or collaborating with operational stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • A finance background with strong capability in analysis, reporting, and performance interpretation.
  • Experience working with variance analysis, budgets/forecasts, and cost/performance metrics.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills—comfortable collaborating across functions and challenging assumptions with data.
  • The ability to learn quickly and understand operational drivers without needing everything explained from day one.
  • Excellent communication skills with a talent for making complex information clear.
  • A proactive mindset—someone who doesn’t wait for problems to surface, but identifies them early and proposes solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing reliable, decision-ready outputs.

Why Join iFF Talent – Ingham Frankland Fide

This is a role for someone who wants to do more than “report numbers.” You’ll be embedded in the business rhythm, using financial expertise to uncover what’s driving performance and helping leadership make confident choices.

  • Be the trusted finance voice leadership turns to for clarity on performance and costs.
  • Work in a role with real influence—analysis that directly supports strategy and operational decisions.
  • Enjoy complexity—variance, collaboration, and operational context are central to the job, not interruptions to it.

Benefits

  • Career growth through meaningful exposure to performance, planning, and strategic decision support.
  • Collaborative environment with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership visibility.
  • Opportunity to strengthen your craft in variance analysis, forecasting support, and decision-ready reporting.
