About The Role
As an Administrator, you’ll be the organisational hub of the care home—coordinating key admin tasks, supporting day-to-day operations, and ensuring information is accurate, timely, and easy for the team to use. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, strong communication, and making a real difference in a care environment.
What You’ll Do
- Handle day-to-day administrative duties to support the smooth running of the care home
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with internal processes
- Support staff with scheduling and coordination tasks where needed
- Process and manage routine paperwork, ensuring it is complete and up to date
- Assist with resident and service-related administration, keeping information organised and accessible
- Support communication between the care team, residents, and families in a professional and compassionate manner
- Help ensure compliance-ready documentation is maintained and easy to locate
- Contribute to a positive, organised workplace where everyone feels supported
Where You’ll Work
You’ll be based at our Cheriton care home, part of the Agincare family. The home is rated Good by the Care Quality Commission.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong administrative ability with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and managing competing priorities
- Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Reliable, organised, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Confidence using IT systems for record-keeping and day-to-day admin tasks
- A caring, respectful approach—because administration here directly supports people
- Previous admin experience is beneficial, but a strong willingness to learn and a “can-do” attitude matters most
