LifeStance Health is hiring a Clinical Onboarding Partner to help new clinicians and providers successfully join our organization—smoothly, compliantly, and with a world-class candidate experience. About The Role

As a Clinical Onboarding Partner, you’ll own key parts of the clinical onboarding process from start to finish. You’ll partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure providers are credentialed, activated, and ready to deliver care. You’ll also help improve onboarding workflows so clinicians can focus on patients—not administrative friction.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate clinical onboarding workflows for new providers, ensuring timely and accurate progression through each step of the onboarding lifecycle.
• Manage provider onboarding activities including documentation collection, status tracking, and follow-through until onboarding is complete.
• Support credentialing and compliance processes by partnering with the right teams, confirming requirements, and maintaining clean, up-to-date records.
• Drive operational readiness by collaborating with healthcare operations and clinical leadership to ensure providers are set up to begin work effectively.
• Act as a central point of contact for onboarding-related questions, escalating issues quickly and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
• Track onboarding metrics and identify bottlenecks to improve throughput, quality, and candidate experience.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive provider information with care and professionalism.
• Continuously improve processes by recommending workflow enhancements and supporting implementation of best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical onboarding, provider onboarding, healthcare operations, credentialing coordination, talent operations, or a related healthcare workforce function.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows with multiple moving parts, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Strong operational follow-through—you don’t just start tasks, you see them through to completion.
• Comfort working with sensitive, regulated information and maintaining strict attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills—you can explain next steps clearly and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Collaborative mindset—you partner effectively across teams to resolve issues and improve the process.
• Proficiency with tracking and documentation tools (experience with onboarding/credentialing systems is a plus).
