Bits is looking for a Founders Associate to work directly with the Founder/CEO—rolling up your sleeves, moving fast, and turning ambiguity into outcomes.

This is not a 9–5 desk role. It’s a high-drive, high-ownership “do-er” position for someone who’s already proven they can achieve—and who wants to grow into a future CEO by building something meaningful.

Bits is a Y Combinator–backed fintech startup based in London, building accessible consumer financial products. We offer solutions like the Bits Credit Card, Store Card, and related services designed to help customers manage and improve their financial health.

About The Role

As a Founders Associate, you’ll operate close to the Founder/CEO. You’ll help drive execution across priorities that matter—product, operations, partnerships, growth, and whatever needs building next.

You’ll be based in SF or London (either works), with frequent travel across Dubai, London, and SF. Expect a lot of movement, a lot of hustle, and a lot of “figure it out and ship it.”

This role is designed as a bootcamp for someone who wants to build a lasting legacy—specifically, the kind of experience that comes from helping create a $100M revenue business.

What You’ll Do

• Partner directly with the Founder/CEO to support key initiatives and translate strategy into execution.
• Build and ship—own tasks end-to-end, from early exploration to delivery and iteration.
• Move quickly through ambiguity: define the problem, propose the plan, execute, and measure results.
• Support cross-functional execution across product, operations, growth, and customer-facing workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively remove them—process, tooling, communication, or decision-making gaps.
• Work on high-leverage projects where your effort directly impacts momentum and outcomes.
• Travel frequently between Dubai, London, and SF to meet teams, partners, and stakeholders.
• Maintain a founder’s mindset—high standards, strong ownership, and relentless follow-through.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about building—and who can prove they’ve done it before.

• Proven track record of achievement, whether academically, through sports, in business, or in another high-performance arena.
• Hands-on builder energy: not a “desktop warrior,” but a do-er who takes action and gets results.
• Humility + hunger: you can work extremely hard without ego, and you’re always learning.
• Comfort with intensity: this role is for people who are okay with fast cycles, hard work, and occasional weekends.
• Strong attitude: you show up, you deliver, you communicate clearly, and you don’t wait to be told what to do next.
• Ability to operate independently while staying aligned with the Founder/CEO’s priorities.
• Coachability: you take feedback, improve quickly, and keep raising your bar.

Age isn’t the point. Previous occupants have ranged from 19 to 39. What matters is drive, capability, and attitude.
