Patient Care Specialist (Remote Call Center)

About STATLINX
STATLINX provides telephone answering, messaging, and alert services to physicians and medical facilities across the United States. Our Patient Care Specialists are the front-line support that helps ensure urgent needs are handled quickly, clearly, and professionally.
What You’ll Do
- Answer and manage 80–120 inbound calls daily in a timely, professional manner
- Follow call scripts and communication prompts to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identify the caller’s needs by asking the right questions and clarifying information
- Research and resolve issues by providing solutions and/or appropriate alternatives
- Use strong communication skills to build trust and maintain sustainable relationships
- Document every interaction in the call center database in a clean, comprehensible way
- Meet personal and team qualitative/quantitative targets while supporting a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
- A pleasant speaking voice and a professional, patient-focused manner
- Good computer skills and comfort working in a call center setting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Medical terminology knowledge required (hands-on or clerical experience both count)
- EMR familiarity preferred (experience with electronic medical record systems and related practices)
- Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm (typing test required)
- Previous experience in customer support or a similar inbound/outbound role is preferred
- Proven ability to over-achieve quotas and deliver consistent performance
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening
- Customer focus and adaptability—able to work with different personality types
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
Shift Availability (EST)
We currently have full-time opportunities available. All shifts are in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
- Full-Time (approx. 30+ hours/week)
- Option 1: Mondays–Fridays 8:00am–6:00pm, EST
- Option 2: Mondays–Fridays 10:00am–7:00pm, EST
- Option 3: M/T/W/F/Sat 9:00am–6:00pm, EST
- Option 4: Thursdays–Mondays 9:00am–6:00pm, EST
Remote Work Requirements
STATLINX will provide the necessary equipment. You’ll need the right setup at home to handle calls reliably.
- Reliable internet (Ethernet/hardwire connection preferred)
- Ping < 15
- Download > 50 Mbps
- Upload > 10 Mbps
- A quiet, dedicated workspace for focused call work
Compensation & Growth
- Entry-Level: $17.50/hour
- Advancement opportunities based on performance
